We have been a long time fan and friend of magician Terry Evanswood. He has been the longest running show in Pigeon Forge. The only thing he has done different is changed venues. He started off his career at Eagle Mountain Theater then moved over to Country Tonite to do a morning show, then he had his own show at Magic Beyond Belief with the big tigers, right on the parkway under Fee / Hedrick productions, after that he went to Wonderworks for 10 years then covid hit, he moved over to Grand Majestic Theater for 5 years. I don’t know if you have done the math but that’s 28 years he has been in Pigeon Forge.
My husband has been working and helping Terry over 20 years. He has done website and graphic design for him to help him with his Magic Mansion House and other odd and end projects. It was around 2 years ago that Ryan, my husband, jokingly said to Terry “You need to get your own theater” the thought was planted and then action started to take place. It has taken quite awhile for this dream to happen. Ryan and Terry went in together as business partners to open up his own theater.
His show is perfect for all ages. He even has so many adults who come year after year and some that come to his show every time they are in town. If you have never been to one of his shows, I definitely recommend it. There are grand illusions, close up magic, kid interaction, comedy and audience participation. His show also changes up for the Halloween season and for Christmas. Now that he has his own theater, he is able to perform some NEW never before seen tricks and illusions, that we can’t wait for.
His theater is absolutely beautiful, It is so elegant and perfect. It is a small intimate theater but so much more personal and you feel like you are right there and can see so well from every seat.
The theater is located in Lumberjack Square right next to the Forge Cinema behind The Lumberjack Feud. Go and visit www.EvanswoodMagicTheater.com for show times and tickets. Go like the Evanswood Magic Theater on Facebook and Instagram.
