I can not believe it is that time again! You know, when we finally have cooler weather, crispy leaves to jump in and see all the beautiful colors in the trees! It is a time I truly love. There is so much to do in this season.

So here are some ideas to get your mind thinking about all the things you want to do. This is a very generic list so you can do this wherever you live.

Go to a Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patches are so much fun to do with your friends, kids or the whole family. Pick out a pumpkin to take home and do all the fun activities that come along with going to a pumpkin patch. We love going through the corn mazes and doing the hay rides.

 

 

 

Paint A Pumpkin

Now that you have a pumpkin, the new thing to do with it in painting a pumpkin! It is fun for kids or even adults. There are some pretty, unique and creative ones to do.

 

 

Carve A Pumpkin

This is a classic thing to do during the Fall Season. You could have a fun contest with who made the scariest pumpkin or most creative. Take a photo of each one and post it on social media and have your friends pick. Whoever wins get a prize!

 

 

Drink A Festive Pumpkin Drink

It’s pumpkin season so there is so many fun drinks you can get such as Pumpkin Spice Coffees or even Pumpkin Milkshakes.

 

 

Decorate Your Front Porch

You can have a simple fall porch with pillows, rugs or a welcome Harvest Sign and wreath. There is so many ideas of ways to decorate your front porch

 

 

Wear Fall Clothing

This is always the best! Finding new fall clothes to wear and pulling out your favorite sweaters is exciting.

 

 

Cuddle Up With A Blanket

Getting out the cozy blankets and watching a movie is the best thing to do in the fall.

 

 

Eat Pumpkin Pie

Make your own pumpkin pie or go to the store and buy some.

 

 

Take A Nature Walk

Going on a walk in the woods or on a paved trail can be so beautiful when the leaves are falling

 

 

Decorate The House For Fall

Get out all your fall decor out and decorate for the season. I love to decorate my dinning room table and all the small tables around the house.

 

 

Set A Fall Table

Get out your cute fall plates, napkins and center pieces out and make your tables very festive.

 

 

Go To A Carnival

Fall means the Carnival is coming to town. You can go ride some fun rides, go to concerts, see animals and eat some fun carnival food. Go find your local carnival and spend a few hours there.

 

 

Eat Candy Apple

You can make your own Candy Apples at home or go to the store to by some. It is something we always love to eat during the fall.

 

 

Bake An Apple Pie

Make your own Apple Pie can make the home smell so yummy and festive this season.

 

 

Go To A Football Game

Go to your local high school football game, a collage game or try to make it out to a pro game.

 

 

 

 

Take Family Photos

Fall is the perfect time to update your family photos. Go out to the park, a scenic view and get out the Tri pod and take your own or hire a professional photographer.

 

 

Drink Apple Cider

I never dink Apple Cider unless it is Fall, so when I drink warm apple cider, I truly feel like it’s fall.

Jump In A Pile Of Leafs

If you live in a heavy wooded area, I am sure you have lots of leaves in your yard. We loved to make a huge pile of leaves to jump into. No matter the age, this is a classic thing to do.

 

 

Do A Leaf Craft

There are so many ideas on Pinterest of things you can do with leaves with your kids. You can paint them, trace them, glue or laminate them to have a fun.

 

 

Make S’mores

We love to make S’mores all year long with our Smores indoor maker but going out and building a fire to make them is a lot of fun.

 

 

Eat Candy Corn

I know most people do not like this candy but I love it. I don’t eat it but only around Halloween so maybe that’s why it puts me in the season.

 

 

 

 

Go On A Hay Ride

Going on a fun hay ride during the fall is a classic thing we love to do. We typically do this at a pumpkin patch but you can find hay rides at lots of places no matter where you live.

 

 

Get Lost In A Corn Maze

Another classic thing to do this fall is to get all turned around in a corn maze. Getting lost and having fun with your family and friends can definitely make memories.

 

 

Make A List Of Everything You Are Grateful For

When you can sit down and think of and realize everything you can be thankful for, it definitely changes your mood and perspective on life. We should all be constant reminder of the things we have.

 

 

Roast Pumpkin Seeds

Want a fun snack to have around the house or while you are watching a movie? This is a great way to get more use out of your pumpkins you just carved. My favorite recipe is this one HERE

 

 

Go To A Farmer’s Market

Going out and picking your own food from local farmers is something we should all be doing and supporting the famers.

 

 

Celebrate Thanksgiving with Family or Friends

We can’t leave off a Bucket List to spend Thanksgiving with your family. If your family isn’t close, plan your own Thanksgiving dinner with your friends for a fun FRIENDSgiving.

 

 

Make Boo Baskets for Family or Friends

Boo Baskets are coming more and more popular with friends and family. You can find a lot of items at the dollar tree and get some baskets and get some snacks, fall decor, coffee pods, blankets and candles and leave it on your friends porches for a fun surprise!

 

 

Go on a Scenic Ride

Stay in the car and find a scenic road to drive down and explore. Listen to music and have some yummy snacks.

 

 

Do a Fall Scavenger Hunt

Going on a nature walk with the family? Create a Fall Scavenger hunt to keep the kids engaged and having fun. You can have them find all kinds of things on the walk such as a red leaf, acorn or pinecone.
