I have been so excited to visit Little Valley Play

I have been so excited to visit Little Valley Play Cafe. This place is owned by 2 moms who both have small kids! They just opened last week and this has to be one of my favorite indoor playgrounds in the area.

As soon as we walked in the kids loved the fun music they recognized. The first part of the area is geared towards the little ones but even my 6 year old loved playing on all the slides and air machine, and the jumping bag!

We all loved the cute buildings to play pretend! They have a gas station, veterinarian clinic, coffee shop and grocery store. The custom made camper to play and pretend campfire is something I know I would have loved to do myself as a kid.

What I personally loved as the mom was the ample amount of comfortable seating. We love indoor playgrounds and it seems that all of them they never provide seats for the parents. This place not only provides seating but a coffee and snack bar as well. I was blown away at all the choices they had to choose from

As of now, the prices are $14 for the first kid and siblings are $10 each. We all know prices are always subject to change. They also offer monthly and annual passes. You can also play for as long as you want! So no time limits. They also offer a small space for private birthday parties.

They are located in Knoxville TN on Kingston Pike in the same shopping center as TJ Maxx and Home Goods which is where I love to go anyways 🤪

So mamas! Grab a friend and take the kids to Little Valley Play Cafe where you may actually be able to sit and talk to one another or bring your laptop to get some work done.

An hour outside of the Smoky Mountains is a new park in Clinton Tennessee called Aspire. It’s actually more than just a playground! It’s a whole lot to experience 🤯 We were there for 5 hours and didn’t even do everything!  Aspire is a FREE privately owned park for the community to enjoy! It sits on 370 acres and offers, the playground, zipline for kids, a fun bike area with hills and obstacle courses for all ages, hiking trails, a dog park, biking trails, a boat launch, fishing and a restaurant.  They have food trucks out that sell coffee and ice cream, a gift shop in the restaurant as well as a roof top bar to sit and enjoy lunch.  If you go, bring your bikes / helmets and a packed lunch unless you want to eat there! A family date night to Wonderworks is a perfect thing to do with your kids at the upside down house. They have all kinds of fun things. Your kids will love such as cool science experiments, rides virtual experiences and a fun ropes course as well as laser tag

XPERIA
Another perfect date night with the family is going to Xperia. This place is a fun virtual aquarium where you learn all about the underwater adventures.

Yogurt
take the family out and get some yummy yogurt

ZIPLINE
Get the families adrenaline pumping by going out on a zip line adventure. There are so many in the Smoky Mountains. All are super fun and super unique.

Here is Part 2 of the ABC family Date Night Ideas 📍 Jumping Go and be a kid again and go to a trampoline park. We have Top Jump and Sevier Air! Both are super fun 📍 Knoxville Go out and explore our neighbor town of Knoxville. You can see a show, game, eat or shop! 📍 Laser Tag Get competitive and see who can win the most points during some laser tag fun! 📍 Mirror Maze Kids love to get all mixed up and try to get out of a mirror maze! We have some fun ones at the Island in Pigeon Forge and on the Gatlinburg Strip 📍 New Restaurant  There are so many local and mom and pop restaurants here in the area, I am sure there is somewhere you have never ate at. 📍 Ober  Go to Ober to ice skate, ride the chair lift or ski if in season. 📍 Pink Jeep Tour Let Pink Jeep do the driving and pick where you want to go and see all the beautiful scenery of the Smokies 📍 Quiet Walk  Hold hands and take a quiet nature walk in the National Park 📍 Rafting Bring your own raft or find a place to handle everything for you such as River Rat in Townsend.

It’s hard for us to have alone time anymore but that’s ok! Date Night with the family is still always fun! Here are some Family Date Night Ideas in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee!   📍 Anakeesta is fun for the whole family with riding a chair lift to the top, shopping and dinning as well as walking the swinging bridge and observation tower! 📍 Beyond The Lens is an interactive pop culture museum with fun things to take photos with, video games, and my kids favorite the alien ball pit 📍 Cades Cove is a great place to ride around, look at the scenery, explore old cabins and have a picnic 📍 Dollywood is always a fun place for a family night out! We love the food, shows and rides 📍 Escape Games maybe something we do without the kids and bring some friends along! We have so many to choose from here in Pigeon Forge. 📍 Firepit and s’mores nights are the best! Cozy up with blankets and stories 📍 Go Carts are so much fun and so easy to find out here in the Smoky Mountains! NASCAR Speedpark is our go to place 📍 Hiking with your family is sometimes exhausting but so worth to do. 📍 Oak Ridge Children’s Museum

We drove an hour to come and got there at 10:30am. When we walked in, they gave us a map and the prices were $10 for an adult and $8 for kids. She told us where to begin and we started slowly walking through it. My kids were not to impressed at first and kept looking to see what was next. We are used to more of a play type museums when we go to Children’s Museum but they slowly started to warm up to it.

So for reference this use to be an old Elementary School and it is now the Oak Ridge Children’s Museum. This place is huge and there are 25+ rooms in the school not counting the hallways that are full of information.

My kids favorite rooms were the Healthy Living, Bird Room, Mars Room, The 1930s Old School Room, Puppet Show Room, TVS Waterworks, Dollhouse Room, Pre School, Rainforest and Train Room.

We stayed there for a little over 4 hours and took a break for lunch

They have a playground outside with covered picnic tables so we ate our picnic and played on the playground then went back in to finish the rooms
