Hello! Thanks for coming to check out our blog. We are Sarah and Stephanie. We both live in the Smoky Mountains but we can’t wait to start sharing our favorite things to do in Knoxville, Tennessee. Knoxville isn’t to far away from the Smoky Mountains and is a a great place we love to go. There is so much shopping and things to do with the kids.
There are several reasons you may find yourself in Knoxville, such as for a Vols Games, Doctor appointment, passing through, visiting family or maybe it is worked related. We have our friends ask us all the time.. “What is there to do with our kids in Knoxville?” The answer is SO MUCH!
I am out in Knoxville a lot I feel like, mostly because traffic in Pigeon Forge can get insane and if I need to do something with the kids or get some shopping done, I am more than likely going to Knoxville. So whatever your reason to being in Knoxville, even if you live here, We hope this blog post can help you think of some things you can do with your kids while in the area.
This list is always growing so if we left anything out, please leave us a comment and let us know what to add.

The bowling area is downstairs and has a very laid back atmosphere. We love the brick walls, leather couches to sit on and the many TVs you can watch while bowling. As of now on their site it’s $25 per hour on the bowling lane.

Ijams has walking trails, swimming holes, boat rentals, biking trails and play areas. You can do so much here. We have explored their Nature Playscape at Grayson Subaru Preserve Area, went swimming in Mead’s Quarry and have done some hiking. Check out Ijams website for all the fun things they offer.
