I don’t know about you but when I go out of town or somewhere new, I am not really interested in eating at chain restaurants, you know the same places we have back home. We like to branch out and try something that is unique to the area.
Hi! Thanks for checking out our site. My name is Sarah and I’m a local mom who actually lives in the Smoky Mountains. I am here to give you the ultimate list of places to eat, you know the hidden gems, local mom and pop restaurants and some of our favorite places that are off the beaten path and some not so well-known places.
First off, even though I live here, we haven’t gone to lots of these places. There are so many places to eat around here. We hope to eat at them eventually.
We decided to put the restaurants in alphabetical order, to easily see what we have on the list when someone recommends a new place. The restaurant link is in blue so feel free to click on it to go directly to their site. We also wanted to mention if they offer reservations, online ordering delivery and catering as well as outdoor seating or next to a river.
